"Hello! This is Kyle speaking on behalf of Expert Village and we are going to be talking about the very basics of Adobe Premiere. First of all you always want to make sure you save a copy of any file that you have. I typically make 1, 2, 3, 5 saving files because I have had files corrupt. Now you go to file and you go to your capture option on the far left and you are going to pull up a window. Now the large black spot on this one is going to be specifically where the video would be. We don't have the video hooked in right now but that is where you will see the video clips from your camera. As far as your device control, you want to make sure your standard, your NTSC, you just want to check your basic options there. The main thing on the video is on the far right side where you see the video and the audio. You do not want them to go to the same drive as your operating system. Now on the logging option, it is up to you. This is really a personal option. If you are doing a feature film or a short film where you have very specific scenes, you may want to be more detailed in the description of the tape of the file and that is on the far right side and you can type in as much or as little description that you want. "
