"This is Kyle with Expert Village and we are talking about moving your clips around in your monitor. Now the monitor is a great little feature. If you highlight the clip on the time line and you double click it, you are going to see that clip only play up at the top. See if you pull the whole bar back and you look, what you are going to notice is the right monitor plays the master. That is kind of what everything is on the time line. But the part that you highlighted, that is the part that shows in the other window. So the left window is the one you want to keep your eye on. Double click it, grab the little gray bar and you can drag it around. Now when you grab the gray bar what you are doing is you are taking the exact same clip that you have down there and placing it. So right there when you see the two pictures in the left box, those two pictures are the first frame and the last frame of what you are going to see. So now as you play back, you will watch it on the right hand monitor so that you can see exactly what you want. You can pull the other frame right up against it so that it will cut back and forth. Now if you double click, you go in a little bit tighter, you grab that gray box and you just run across the little marker bar. "
