"Hi! this is Kyle with Expert Village and I am going to give you some tips on using photoshop. I am going to go through my layers. This is basically how this was created. I filled in the background with pure black that was done easily with the paint bucket tool, we already learned that, now on top of that I begin to develop layers and I want to begin to see, I found the Hollywood sign, this was very simply a little bitty tiny picture of Hollywood. This was the picture I had taken upon a hill, so I just took it, if we zoom in, we can really see that it just very simply a little picture of Hollywood. Now, how I made this layer different was if you just look at it by itself, it does not look so good, what I did is I took the picture and I went over to my erase tool. I right clicked it, went to the erase tool and then on that image see I can go fade out, what I did on this one, make sure you undo that, anytime you do something that you don’t want, just undo it. Okay on this one, I went to the brush tool and I went down and it depends on which version of photo shop you have if you may or may not have this brush tool, but this one in particular is a leaf pattern. I use this a lot because this is just simple, it actually creates. Now you want to make sure you are a 96, that’s pretty big, let us take it way down, let us pull it down to like 44, that way we can see what we are doing on the leaf pattern see it creates a little bitty leaves so what it does if you eat the edges away it creates a little smoother surface because things don’t blend very well if you have edges, edges don’t look good. So, you always want to keep the edges real clean, so brush tools are a simple way to do that. Now, view, go to zoom out, hit it once, view, zoom out again or you can do control minus button, that’s it, it is just simply a picture I have Hollywood that I went, I erased the outside. "
