"Hey everybody, my name's Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. After you create your models and texture them, you're going to want to render them. To do this, all you have to do this to click this up here in the top right the clapboard here. If you click that, it's going to render my box with my cat on it. Let me get out of there. There's some settings you should now about. If you click in the very far right in this clapboard with the two dots on it; that's going to bring up your render settings. Under the common tab, this should be pretty self explanatory; you can set up where your output goes to. Your rendering to a movie, you can set up the image size and such things. But if you could click in Maya Software Tab, you'll see underneath Anti alias in quality. Says quality preview quality. Again I want to change that production quality and that's going to set up everything down here. And you can come here later and adjust those if you feel the need to. I am going to get out of there and when I click render again; it's going to render out a better quality picture. Also if you want to mess around with the different renderers that are included with Maya. You can also select mental ray and there are some very cools things you can do with mental ray. You can do some tune shading and things like that. But that how you render out your pictures in Maya."
