Tips on Rotating Layers in Adobe Photoshop

"Hi! This is Kyle with Expert Village and I am going to show you some tips on using photoshop. We started with basically this, this is a picture I had taken at nighttime of a tiki torch and I took the picture, I put it in now turned it sideways, it was originally upside down. Now, if you want to know how to turn a layer sideways, the easiest way is edit, transform, rotate 90 degrees CW, clockwise. See, real easy, you can flip the image, so this is what actually started with just simply that image out there. It’s a photograph. So, the first thing I did is I went in and I transformed it 90 degrees flipped it back, or you can do edit, transform, flip horizontal, flips it sideways, edit, transform, flip vertical, flips it up and down or edit, transform, you can scale, which we already learned, rotate, skew, skew brings the edges and so you can have more of a dimensional if you want to create more of a dimensional look.
