"Hey everybody, I'm Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. You can also add custom maps to your objects. I'm going to go ahead and create a cube. Turn on shading for that. If you want to go up window "rendering editors" and turn on your hyper-shade again. Lets see, it defaults to Lambert one so I'm going to drag that down to my work area and open it up like we learned how to last time. You'll see beside color, there is a box right here if you click on that, it's going to bring up another window. The "create render" node and if you click "file" it's going to let you load in your own image beside image name, so I'm going to click there and you're going to want to store all of your textures and your source images folder. I'm going to open this one. It's a picture of my cat. When you look over here, you see my cat is textured onto my box. If you go up to window, and go down to UV texture editor, you can't really tell what is going on there. So, if you select your object, if you've opened up your texture editor you can see an outline of your box here and make sure you go up "image" and "display image" and this is what your box looks like if it were to be flattened out If you right click and select "UV" edit the different points on this using the controls we've already learned to how to do by scaling and moving and you can adjust how your image looks on your model."
