"Adobe Photo Shop is a registered trademark of Adobe Systems Inc, and I am in no way affiliated with Adobe. O.k., so for this tutorial I'm going to talk about a different type of blending option called soft light. I use this quite a bit. Soft light is a cool way to actually separate colors. Now, say for instance you don't want to do the whole shadow and highlight adjustment and, you want to start with our original picture which was this right here, and you want to use a blending option, and were actually going to just drag this bottom layer all the way down. As you can see, there's a difference between the shadow in highlight and, the original picture. Say for instance you want to use the blending option of soft light. Now, soft light is very cool because it peening over pixels, so you're not doing anything to the quality of the image or, to the, you know you're not adding noise, you're not doing anything to it, you're just painting the over pixels. So, what you want to do is create a new layer, and as you can see the layer's up here, and you want to name this one soft light, and then what you want to do is, you want to actually, click on your blending options, as you can tell I just did, and hit soft light. O.k., so now for the most part, we have our soft light blending options selected and, on the next tutorial I'm basically going to show you what to do with this soft light."
