"This is Kyle with Expert Village and I'm going to be talking about some tips for Sony Acid Pro. Your reverb, let's go ahead and do this, now when you click it, you either double click it and it'll pull up here or you hit the add button see, and it will pull up again. So you want to click over. Now here's your reverb so let's say we have the rich hall, we have, you know quite an option here from the concert hall to the cavernous, rock corridor, give it that kind of a live sort of feel, warm ambiance. Okay, so let's just try a concert hall. I'm gonna go, just so you can really feel it, I'm gonna go big here, I'm gonna do a big delay up front, big delay time and let's early out with see, let's go about here and reverb out. So just so that you can hear, let's go ahead and back up now, play it. So, obviously we don't like the filters so you can either bypass it, you can either remove it, let's say if you want to use it later, you may just want to bypass it for now. You may want to remove it completely, I'm gonna just remove it completely. And so anyway, that's some of the basics of effects and the audio and like I say, really test them out. I mean, there are so many great effects in there."

on 4/18/2009 Carl. You speak in your video as if youre having a conversation. Its not instructional at all. A person looking to learn how to add reverb to a track would come away from your video with close to nothing. The first thing you say is "Now, when you click it ..." Click WHAT?? Youre assuming that a novice can follow what youre saying because you speak from the perspective that the novice already knows how to GET to the reverb effects dialogue box to begin with. You also assume that speaking in real time with the moving image in your video suffices. "Now when you click over ..." is not instruction. Click over?? Your banter continues, "Lets say we have the Rich Hall, the Concert ..." Its laughable. Youre talking to people who DONT KNOW. Theres plenty of talk in your video with very little INSTRUCTION. Please explain the process a little more fundamentally. For example, instead of "Lets say we have the Rich Hall ..." how about "There are several different types of reverb and you can choose which type of reverb you want to apply to your existing sound by clicking on the ..." See what I mean? Its obvious that youre very knowledgeable, but in this particular video, youre a poor instructor. Consider re-doing this video. Your wealth of knowledge means nothing, if the layman cant learn from you.
