"This is Kyle with Expert Village and I'm gonna be talking about some tips for Sony Acid Pro. You can try a few different things. Now this changes the frequency, the gain, you can go from the high shift to the low shift, you can even go to the band. You know, it just gives you the ability to really tweak out, this works great on vocals, on your instruments, just to give it the sound that you want. And see, if you notice, watch this as I play, it changes, so I can actually make points to where it will change within the song so I don't have to put the same just on one setting for everything. I can do it throughout. Now lets say for instance if I want some other effects. I click down here, this is the edit change button, so I click that, it's on the right of the audio tracks effects box. Now this pulls me up a whole range of effects, everything that you can imagine here that deals with audio. Chorus auto pan that's going left to right, and acoustic mirror that creates kind of just an ambient acoustics to it. We've got stuff like dynamics, distortion, if you have a clean guitar sound but maybe you don't have a distortion pedal, you can add that here in the effects. The chorus audio restorations is great for taking out little clips and picks and pops and maybe if you have an old records that you would like to convert to MP3, the noise gate, this is great for I mean, this could take you an hour just to go through all of these. A lot of times I've gotten a program I didn't really go through and learn everything I should, I just picked up the basic things, and then, you know, months, or six months, or a year later I'm going through and I hit a little, one of these little effects that I didn't even realize was there and I'm like Oh my goodness this could have saved me so many hours. So, it's always great to really go through and to learn your program and just try all these out."
