"Hello, this is Kyle with Expert Village and I'm gonna be talking about some tips for Sony Acid Pro. But typically what I do is I right click, and so I'm going to insert or remove an envelope. I'm going to go over to volume, so here's my volume. Now if I go over here to the right I can zoom in on the height of this track that way I can get really close because a lot of times when you're editing you really need to get down to the very, very minute, that's really where it comes down to. So if you double click and you double click, double click, double click, each spot that you double click you will be able to use that as a point. You go out of this envelope and you can pull it down so here's pulling your volume down and it shows you just to the right, if you notice negative seven, negative six, negative five, it shows you how many DB you're at. So if you do this you know you're going to end up peaking because you're above zero, zero. So you want to keep it usually lower. Unless something is really, really low, if you've got a part of a maybe an audio or a vocal that 's really low and you want to pull it up you might have to go up to the six DB ahead just to get it to balance out at zero DB at the time line."
