"So you can see how easy it is to set up a simple animation and we can include Rotation and if you want to do Fades, the way to do a Fade in After Effects is use the Opacity. There are some transitions in the Effects Palette. Let's jump over here a minute to the Effects Palette. And we do have some transitions that come with the program. Such as Dissolves and Wipes, but there's not really a Fade Out or Fade In parameter. To do Fades you have to use Opacity. So, let's try a Fade. As it's moving off, we'll set a Key Frame here. And then fade it out here. Double click on the Key Frame. Set the Opacity to zero. Click ok. And you can see that as the image is moving off screen it's fading out."
