"Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Now we know how to perform some basic transformations on our objects using our mouse, but you can also go in and manually input the transformations as well. If you select your object over here on the right, it'll say translate, rotate, and scale with an X, Y, or Z next to it corresponding to the axis. If it doesn't say that, you can come up here and make sure that you press this button right here. What you can do is go in and manually input it. If I change my scale X to 4, you'll see now that my object takes up 4 spaces on the grid. This gives you a little more control over your object. Also, if you come down and click, it'll say input. If you click what it says below that. Mine says poly cubic. Yours might say something different depending on what type of object and the number of objects you have in your scene. If you click that, you can change your width, height, and depth there. You can also change the amount of subdivisions. If I change beside width, I'll change that to 2. You'll see it looks like it cuts my object in half. You can do this for height and depth as well. This actually changes the amount of vertexes in your geometry, which we’re going to get into in a little bit, but this is something that you're going to need to be aware of how to do in order to create more detailed objects.
