"Hello I am Gary for Expert Village. So now what I am going to do is with this layer selected. What we are going to do is we are only going to apply the blur effect to this layer, the top layer that we did the erasing to. We see that it is selected on out layers window. I am going to go up to my filters menu and, I am going to select blur and again select the Gaussion blur. This time I am going to put it around I can just type it in as well to I will type in six point oh, and hit OK. Now we see our image is pretty blurred out, but this we will see once we apply, once we put in the other layer we will see that the blurred effect is not going to stand out as much as any kind of distortion. So let us go ahead and turn on that bottom layer. We see now that the layer on top of that one if you look really close, you can see that a lot of those blotches on the skin have really been wiped out. I am going to zoom in a little bit and I am going to turn the other layer off. You can see now that he has some really nice smooth skin over here we have cleared up all those areas. We left all the other parts of the face intact, the eyes and the eye brows. You really can not tell that any kind of make over was done. If I go ahead and turn off the part of the skin where I did the blur and you will be able to see the original image where you can see that there are some serious skin problems that we cleared up. You can really see the difference here, the red blotches and when I turn on the filtered layer we see that those blotches disappear. It gives a really nice polished effect. Especially if these are pictures that are going to be sold, to be distributed to family members and things like that I am sure that this person will really appreciate the make over that you give him by editing these photos."
