"So the first thing you want to do when you open up the program is, go to, you have to create a new composition. So let's go to composition, new composition where control N. I'm using a PC of course. And we come up with this menu, composition settings. We're going to take the NTSCD1 setting with square pixels. But if you twiddle down and see the drop down menu, you'll notice that we have a ton of different settings all the way up to the 4K film from web video 320 x 240. And you can create your own. I've done that several times. You just click on custom and then set the parameters. And click on the little save icon here or you can create your own parameter for when you want to edit. So let's go back to NTSCD1 square pixel 720 x 540. Square pixels frame rate you can adjust. Here we're going to go with 29.97, full resolution. And you can set your time code anyway you want, here. So let's click Ok. And when that happens the composition comes up."
