" Hi I'm Gary for Expert Village. Now that we understand what the changes in our frame length will do to the animation. I'm gong to go and play around a little bit just to show you how the changes in the time will effect, we can actually see how it will effect the animation. What I'm going to do I'm going to change the frame length. The way we do that is we see the default over here it says zero seconds, sec. And that's basically saying it's the very quick flash of that frame. I'm going to change that, make it a little slower. I'll put the first frame just so we can get a little bit of an idea of what we're looking at. So I'm going to keep that frame on for a little bit longer, I'm going to change it to .5 which is a half a second, and the ones in the middle I'm going to change them to .2 seconds, keep them on for a little bit longer. And if you want to change more than one frame and you want to change it to the same setting, in our case, going to change the middle frames as well to .2 seconds. The easiest way to do that is to go ahead and click on the first frame in the series that you want to change. And holding down the shift key click on the last frame in the series that you want to change, and we see that everything in between gets selected. Now I left the last frame here, because I'm going to put it at a different setting. I'm going to change that to.5 second like I did to the first frame, to keep it on a little longer. So now I have the frames in the middle, that I want to change to .2 seconds so I just take one of them, click on the arrow to get the menu again, and change it to .2 and now all of the frames that are selected will also change to .2 seconds. So now I have a bit of a slower time line, the last frame I'm going to change it to .5, keep it on there a little longer. And having the forever button checked, meaning that it will continuously repeat. I'm going to click the play button, and we see that the frame, the animation is changing much slower. And again this is all dependent on what affect you're looking for. That's how you manipulate the frame length, and that's also how it will effect your final animation."
