Cropping Images in Adobe Image Ready

"Hi, I'm Gary for Expert Village. You see our pictures are pretty much the same size. I just want to make one more edit and take off some of the edges on this pictures because it's a little bit wider than the second picture. And when the frames, the pictures go over each other, I want it to be a little bit more exact. So in order to do that, what I'm going to do is I'm going to select my marquee tool and that will let me make a selection on the image, make sure that the image is highlighted and we'll go ahead and I'll, just select. Make a selection of the image but I'm going to leave off a little bit on the sides. We see now that the selection, the final cut is going to be where the box is. And I'm going to go ahead and hit control x. I will cut the part that I selected and I'm going to create a new image and I'm going to paste it on that new image. So I go up here to file and click on new and it will automatically have the size of the image that's on the clip board that I already cut. So, I'm going to leave these dimensions, just make sure that the background is transparent. I'm going to hit okay, I see I have a blank image that I can go ahead and paste the first picture that I cut. I'll hit control v. Now we see our picture is a little bit, we put it over here we see that it's pretty much the same width, and we know it's the same height because we changed those dimensions. So now I'll go ahead and delete this. So now I have my two pictures that are ready to be placed in our animation program."
