Setting File conventions in Poser 3D

"Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. Poser 7 can collapse thumbnails into a textual list when the number of items in a specific library folder exceeds a certain threshold. The thumbnail display setting allows you to specify at point Poser 7 should collapse the thumbnails, if at all. So, I have this set on never collapse thumbnails. By checking the apply universal poses box, poses saved to the library will be automatically written as universal poses and library poses apply to figures by double clicking will always be applied as universal poses. A note about Poser files, Poser has its own set of files and naming conventions for these files. Particularly, for character details like face, hands, cameras and so forth. The most commonly used of these files is the PZ2 or the pose file as well as the CR2 or character file. When you save a Poser file, it saves it as a PZ3 file. So, we've saved this file that we are looking at as test and you can see in the drop down menu that it saves it as a PZ3 file. The PZ3 is the native Poser scene file and this file contains all the information found in the scene, including details on the movie, background, rendering, animation, lights, cameras, and figures. Poser also has a series of compressed files that have the extension .pzz, .crz, and so forth."
