"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi. This is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. It's not the smoothest interpolation we can have but it is smooth. Now, if I were to make all this green by clicking on the spline selection, let's go back and see what we have. And you can see that we're already getting some distortion in the lip movement, and that's because--let's take a look at the graph. We look at the mouth "m" phoneme, and we can see that there's a huge bubble in the timeline, and that's not really because of adding the "m" phoneme; it's because it's working with other phonemes. So you have to be careful about adding and taking away phonemes, and that's one of the downsides of working with manual key framing in lip-sync animation."
