"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi. This is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. Whether you use Mimic or the Talk Designer or some other automatic lip-sync generation program, you'll have to do some tweaking; nothing comes out perfectly the first time. It just depends on whether you want to do that tweaking in a separate program or if you want to do the tweaking on your own throughout the speech. And one thing I like to do when adding manual key frames is, after I've added a few, I like to go back into the animation palette and take a look at what's happening now. You'll see here that I have the linear selection selected with key frames that's represented by the yellow and brown key frames. The bright yellow dots are actual key frames. The brown dots represent the spaces or the interpolation in between the key frames."
