"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi. This is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. The render settings are here in the drop-down window, under "Render," we go to "Render Settings" and you have four different ways to render in Poser. You can use their proprietary render engine, FireFly. You can use the Poser 4 render engine, which does not include Ray Tracing, Motion Blur, and so forth. You have a Sketch render, and then you have a Preview render, which basically just renders what you see in the preview window. So we're going to select FireFly setting and we're going to change the backdrop to black. We're going to remove the backfacing polygon to smooth the polygons, and we're going to move this, the quality bar, all the way over to the last setting. And you could see that, as you move the bar, certain things happen, certain things are added that increase the quality--in other words, the Ray Trace, the Ray Trace bouncing, and Radiance caching and so forth."
