"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. I've added a linear selection in the middle here so that we can have some movement happening; otherwise, if you have a keyframe here that's constant and a keyframe here that's constant, there's nothing in between to assign keyframes to so we created a--we clicked on the brown button and that creates a linear keyframe. It allows us to add some keyframes in between those two motions. And we're just going to move the sit position down the timeline a little further, and you do that by selecting the topmost keyframe in the entire range of keyframes. And let's talk about keyframes just for--just briefly for a second here, how to select them and so forth. In the farther--far left hand corner of the animation pallet, you'll see the figures and you can--you have a drop down menu for each item in your scene, and under each item in the scene are the body parts and each body part has a separate line for keyframes. So, if you want to select an entire figure, all you have to do is select the topmost keyframe for that figure at that moment in the animation and you'll notice that it highlights all the way down the line here with a white highlight. And that means the entire figure is selected and then you just click on the top keyframe and drag the entire set of keyframes for that figure wherever you want it to go."
