"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi. This is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. The thing about storing a pose in the library is that once you apply this pose, once you save the pose rather, it saves everything. It saves the model, the pose, everything, the lighting and the camera position. So if you were to apply this pose, what you'd be doing, actually, is creating another figure in the scene. So the poses are useful too in saving a complex set up that you have, but if you really want to just save the pose and apply only the pose to your figure, Pose Dots are your best bet. So we're going to click on the Pose Dot and it lights up and becomes filled in, and that means that we have a pose saved. So we scroll through this. We have that and then we're going to move to another frame and just double-click and apply the Pose Dot then we've applied that saved pose to this figure."
