"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi. This is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. Now, the thing about cloth simulation that you should remember is that if you move the pose of the figure at all after you've done the simulation, then you'll have to redo the simulation. So, make sure that you have your animation set first before you do any changes or before you actually run the simulation. And another thing about cloth simulation is that--let's stop this and let's look over here at some of the parameters of the cloth groups. There are a number of features that you can use to make the cloth look thicker or lighter or however you want it to look, and we have a number of dials over here that affect the way the cloth moves through 3D space. For instance, if you want cloth to appear more like felt or velvet, a thicker cloth, then you'll want to increase the cloth density. If you want it to cling to the model more closely rather than have such a loose fit, then you'll have to play with the cloth self-friction and the air damping controls. So, a lot of the simulations that you run in Poser will take a lot of trial and error. But the calculations and the dials and the parameters are there for you to use."
