"Adobe Photo Shop is a registered trademark of Adobe Systems Incorporated and I am in no way affiliated with Adobe. Okay, so on this little tutorial here I am actually going to be talking about "dropping the saturation" on the layer that says "Black and White" so as you can see it says Black and White but the picture is not black and white it is still in color. So there is several ways to drop saturation, the way I am going to show you is just basically go to "Image, Adjustments" you can either hit "Black and White" and mess with all this stuff to make it black and white which I do not want to do, because it is a little tedious. Hit Adjustments you can go to "Hue and Saturation" and just drop your saturation all the way down, which is probably the easiest way to do. You can see what you are doing if you un-click this eye or if you drag this layer to the top. So we will just go ahead and drop the black and white and we will put that on top, as you see I just did. So now if you do any type of adjustments to it, you can go to Saturation and you can see what you are doing. Or there is another way to do it, if you can simply go to "Image, Adjustment and Desaturation", desaturate, you can hit Shift, Command U or Shift Control U on PC. So let us go ahead and do that. Shift, Command, U, as you can see it automatically just dropped the saturation of our photo. Okay, so basically that is it for "dropping the saturation" and I would like to have this black and white layer on the top part and I think it is going to be more effective for this small tutorial. So leave that black and white on top, if you hit the "I" you still got your color copy, but if you click on it brings back the black and white. So what we want to do is go ahead and move on to the next clip. "
