"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. Okay, and then we go to the render settings, which is where we find the settings for radiosity. We're going to turn the auto light off. Go to radiosity, select it. And there are a number of settings here that determine how radiosity is viewed in your scene and all of these settings really require a bit of experimentation if you want to get just the right look for your scene. And it's really a matter of sort of mixing and matching these settings to get both the optimal rendering time, as well as the optimal look for your picture, and we're going to take a look at that and see how that works as we go along. The first thing we're going to do is decrease the diffuse depth to 1. We're going to decrease the number of stochastic samples to 100, and we're going to make the minimum resolution, 5, and maximum resolution, 90. The prepass size will be 1/3, and we'll keep everything else the same except for this, we'll recompute always."
