"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. So now that we have the basis of our room, let's finish it off by adding some lights. And of course lighting is a key component to the look of any render, make sure that the auto light is off. And keep the lighting fairly simple. Put a light through the window. We will increase the intensity of that light to about 200. What we'll do for the background is instead of adding a light to it we'll copy this channel and drop it into the luminance channel. And you can see that without needing to add a light, the luminous channel really brightens up that exterior. "
