"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village in this clip I like to take you through the steps of importing a video and converting it into a flash video into your flash website. So you want to go under file, import, import video and this will bring up a window and you want to choose your movie file, hit continue. Now there are different ways to deploy this video we're going to choose progressive download from a web server which is the more standard way. Unless you have some sort of way streaming service you can also set it up for a mobile device, what to play in your timeline if you we're creating a more complicated flash movie. So we're going to hit continue on this and this is where you can set your quality level with the compression it's going to be using for video and audio you can crop and resize it if you like. We're going to leave it as is hit continue, now this here is a component that will setup for a course play, stop, fast forward, volume control you can choose different ones with different looks. You can make it external now what flash will do is create it's own shock wave file for just this controller, and when you export or publish your flash document which will automatically be created for you.
