on 9/21/2008 This doesn't help me at all. I'm trying to make a flash intro with the new flash cs3 and i put a action script 3 preloader in it. When i put action script 2 with the action script 3, it rejects the action script 2. how do i make a button link with action script 3?

"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village in this clip I'm going to show you how to create a URL link from a button inside of your flash document. Now you can see on our page here you have a button down below to Expert Village now to setup a link to there web page, you want to select it you want to bring up your actions, and this time we're going to choose global functions, browser/network, get URL. Right here you want to put the complete URL and you don't need to send anything else these are variables for other things like get and post. You can set up a if it opens to a different window of the same window, we'll leave it like this close that, and now when you click on your link it will take you directly to the website. And that's how you setup URL link in flash CS3."
