"This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village in this clip I'm going to show you how to set an action on a button that will control your timeline. Now we have our homepage here and we have our link page and we need to get to our link page from our homepage. Now down here we can see that we already have our buttons setup, we're going to click on this one and we're going to bring up our actions. Now you want to go to this little button right here this plus sign we're going to bring up global functions, timeline control, goto. Choose the go to and stop and we need to go to frame 40 now when you click this button turn on your buttons enable simple buttons, when we click on this it will take us to frame 40. As you can see now we're here on frame 40 and that's how you control your timeline with actions attached to a button symbol in flash, I'm Bill Macpherson for Expert Village."
