"BRANDON KARON: One of the reasons why the MacBook Air is super thin yet still powerful aside from the memory and the LED back-lit display is the fact that they have small processors. But the processors aren't subpar by any standard. Apple actually made a deal with Intel where Intel developed their Intel Core 2 Duo Processors and they made them whole heck of a lot smaller, but they're just as powerful. They have an 800 megahertz frontside bus speed and there's a couple of different configurations available. You can also--you can get a 1.6 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor or you can opt to go for the 1.8 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo Processors. Now, they're both extremely powerful processors and it makes the MacBook Air an extremely efficient machine. So, there you go. That's the processor on the MacBook Air."
