"My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'll be showing you some of the new features Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. The next thing I want to show you are some of the iChat features. They're pretty neat. I don't know how useful they are, but they're definitely neat. I've already got iChat open here. I'm just going to go over here to show you. Normally you would initiate a chat with somebody, but I can show you just using myself. I can go over here and go to video preview. And go over here and go to show video effects, just so I can show you the new effects. Alright you'll see that you recognize most of these from Photobooth. There's our sepia effect. It's an aged film. There's black and white. A glowing affect which really only works if it's really bright where you're at. Same with the comic book affect and the colored pencil. There's also a thermal camera, which makes you see everything like the predator does. X-ray which is not very useful but looks neat. There's little pop art; a little four screen thing there. Go to the next page. We have all the distortion effects from Photobooth. You have the bulge which is always funny. The dent which is always funny, too. The twirl, the mirror, which is always really kind of creepy. The squeeze effect which is always good for a laugh as well. The light tunnel which I really haven't found much of a use for. The stretch which is always very funn, too. And the fish eye which really doesn't seem to work that much, but is has a slight effect. Next page here. We have the video effect backgrounds. These only work if you're against a perfectly opposite colored background as what you're wearing. I'm wearing a black shirt, or a dark blue, black shirt, so if I pick any of these it's not going to work very well. So rather than show you how bad they look, I'll just skip them. And that's pretty much it. There's also a section here for user backgrounds too. You can create your own photo and paste it up behind you. So if you want to take a photo of the Grand Canyon and stick it behind you, make it look like you're at the Grand Canyon, there you go. I'm going to close this window because we're tired of looking at me, and show you that they also added one really neat feature to iChat. Open the preferences to get to it. Ok you'll see that they added it under accounts. You can now add Google accounts or jabber accounts. If you have a Google telecaddress or a jabber id it goes right in here, and you can actually open up a separate window for that. Go over here and show your jabber buddies and click on buddy list. There you go."
