"Hi Chris Cobb for Expert Village welcome back. So now you've seen the board and you've seen how we've input all the information into the breakdown sheets and then turned them into strips on the board. Before we go any further though if you are using either Final Draft or Movie Magic Screenwriter, I want to show you how to import those files into the board and create your board that way. Ok? Let's jump in! When you are importing into EP Scheduling, you?re starting right at the beginning. So you have to create a new schedule like we did before. So go up to file menu and pull down your schedule from template and open up a new schedule. Go into fall template here and open it. I know but. Go up to file and down to import. You got a confirmation screen you can read it all if you want I will not just say yes and now it asks you for the file you want to import. The first thing to know is that the schedule exports files from different programs are called sex files. Yep dot s-e-x. So go ahead and select the correct file it may take a minute to import it so go ahead and get another cup of coffee, take a break, do whatever you got to do and here it is. Notice again this is sheet one, no scenes. So your first sheet is taking up with nothing. Let's go to the second sheet. There it is. Sheet two, scene one. So here we've got exterior, Tini Bick's bar in Seattle, night, two eighths of a page. That's all just taken right from the script but notice you have to still fill in the synopsis and the script day and in this case we obviously didn't tag any cast members so it didn't import them. The next page, this is scene two, interior Tini Bick's bar and also somehow another missed night so we have to add that. So in other words you have to go through add your synopsis, the script days, and here they are your cast members, it says a man and a woman at this point we know that's Hannah and Sully. So we have to change them like we did before but that's how you import into EP Scheduling."
