"Hi Chris Cobb for Expert Village welcome back. So you should be well on your way to breaking down your script and inputting it into EP scheduling. I just wanted to take a minute and show you a different scene that I am going to break out in a different way and what I am going to do is take parts of a scene and assign them to their own production strip. So let's read the scene. So the scene begins on other page and the leading line is: She points to a line of losers here to learn something they should already know. Jen (O.S. which means of course off screen) smile (snap) Sully looks crampy. Jen (O.S.) next (snap) Hannah has a perky deer in the headlights (snap) Hannah with her eyes closed (snap) Hannah on death row. All of these snaps mean that a picture is being taken and so I want make a general note to myself and call those out differently on a production sheet and to do that of course I am going to highlight them. Get your yellow highlighter and highlight them in yellow. We're going to do all of them. At you know one at a time with your marker. I know I can do it differently on screen here but I want to do it the same way your doing it just so we're not that far apart in our process. Snap, snap, snap, snap! Then we have these all of these now highlighted as notes to ourselves. We're going to approach them a bit differently when we break them down into break down sheets. So let's get started and I'll show what I mean. But before we begin adding new break down sheets with partial scenes the one thing that we want to do is we want to change the preferences in EP scheduling so that we can number the breakdown sheets ourselves. Let me show you what I mean. So the thing that we want to be able to do is we want to be able to assign the sheet number ourselves. Because what we are going to do is create parts of scenes sixty-nine and we want to keep the sheets all together so that we see them as a series. The way that we do that is that we go up into our EP Scheduling again to preferences and it pulls up the preferences and it has two choices application preferences or schedule preferences. We want schedule preferences and right here sheet numbering auto. You want to take it off automatic and turn it to manual. So now you can see that I can actually type into that if I want to. I can type A I can type whatever I want. Well that's what we are going to want to do once we start creating parts of scene sixty nine."
