"Hi Chris Cobb for Expert Village welcome back. So we've broken down our second scene and we've inputted into EP scheduling and now we?re going to do something a little bit different. We are going to assign a board Id to each of the characters with a speaking part. And what do I mean by a board Id? It's just a number and we use it to track that character across the production board when we create a schedule. That may not make any sense to you now but it will later. Let's just jump in and assign our board Id's. So I finished off this breakdown sheet and I am going to add another one. I wanted you to watch me do that. So another breakdown sheet added it up here at scene number three interior Tini Bick's bar the good thing is now I can just T and I've already got it. It's still night and this scene is one and three eighths pages and then to the synopsis. Sully and Hannah scan from a dark corner. Ok and now we've met the main characters of this script. And I want to show you a few things that we're going to do to make sure we track them well. It's still script day one. We'll go down to cast members. Now see there here are all the cast members I've added what's interesting is that we've just realized that the man and the woman's voices are actually Sully and Hannah. So let's go ahead and change those to reflect that and here's how we do it. We actually go up to our break down and we go to our element manager and we are going to do a couple things. Now here's all the categories over here on the side and we're looking for cast members obviously and we look at man and woman. So we double click it and Sully is the man. We're also going to assign a board Id. Board Id is the character number that we are going to track our characters on the board with. So we are going to lock that Id so no one else could have it. Now I am going to click. There he is take a look Sully board Id number one. Let's go down to the woman and call her Hannah. She's going to be board Id number two, ok. Again click ok and sort there she is Hannah board Id number two. Now I am going to go through and assign the rest of these Id's just in order of appearance but now that I've got my two main characters set and ready to go I can now add everybody as three, four, five, and six and so on and so forth. I'll start doing that, you do it too. I'll see you when you get back."
