"Hi! This is C.J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to use the add, edit feature to cut your clips. So let's finish off this volume by talking about the add, edit feature. Now I am sure you remembered the blade tool and we talked about that a little while ago. You've got the standard razor blade tool and the razor blade all tool. Well what if you don't want to use the razor blade. What if you prefer short cuts, quick keys? Well it is a great quick key for cutting and it is control v. Now as you can see when I press that, it put a slice right into my clip. Let me go ahead and undo that with apple z. That is another great quick key apple z for undo. The great thing about this is you can actually play the footage and then real time you can cut it. So I am going to go ahead and play this footage. Now while I play it, I just hit control v; anywhere I want to make a cut in the clip, I just hit control v and as you can see as I am doing this, it is adding these little markers on the top, these red markers right on the top of it. Once I stop, hit the space bar all these clips are now cut. All those marks turn into slices and now you have cut clips."
