"This C.J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to adjust scale and rotation in the canvas. Now instead of editing the scale and rotation values in the motion tab, you can do it right inside of the canvas. Let me go ahead and enlarge the canvas for you. Oh, look at that handsome devil. He's so cute! Stop it, stop it. Make sure that you have your selection tool active and bring your pointer over the image. Now you noticed that my pointer has now turned into those up and down left and right arrows; the four way arrow. If I click and hold it, I can move that image around just like I could with my clips in sequence. I can now move the image. Now to adjust the scale of it, you have to go to one of the corners. They are the little square boxes; the upper one is the little gray circle here. All you do is just click and hold the corner. You'll notice once I go over the corner my cursor changes to this cross here. That means you are ready for resizing the scale. So click and hold that and drag it. Now you noticed that it is proportionate while I drag it. When I drag it up, down, left or right, it stays proportioned. Now if I want to change the scale unproportionately, I just hold the shift key while dragging and now I can scale it however I want. But my head is not that squishy so I am just going to go ahead and put it back to the standard. Now for rotation you bring your cursor to the outside of it and you notice now that my cursor turns into this kind of loop arrow and that represents rotation. So if I click and hold and now I drag, now I am rotating my image It can rotate any way you want. If I hold the shift key, what happens then is it snaps to 45 degree angles; snap, snap. You can do it either way. "
