"This is C. J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I am going to talk about audio scrubbing and how you can toggle it on and off. So what is audio scrubbing. Well when you drag your play head across the clip, you will hear bits and pieces of whatever the audio is depending on how quickly or how slowly you move your play head. That's called scrubbing; scrubbing through audio which is useful for just trying to find a place in here like particular beat you want to find. Instead of playing it and stopping it; you can just kind of scrub until you find a spot that you were looking for. But sometimes it gets really really annoying and if you want to turn it off, you can do that. But now remember when you turn it off it affects not only the time line but also your canvas and your viewer. But again it is up to you if you want to hear it or not. To turn it off, just go to view and then come on down to audio scrubbing. You will notice that it is checked off. You can just go ahead and uncheck it and now there is no sound. It is silent. Just listen to the birds. So silent. The quick key to that is shift S. Now, it's off. Just a little quick tip for you."
