"Hi! This is C.J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I am just going to continue to talk about the blur filter to enhance video. So let's go ahead and set a key frame at the beginning here. I remember key frames are just two points and between those 2 or more points, its telling it to do something. Like from this point to this point I want it to change to this value to this value. That is all key framing is. So let's put a key frame right at the beginning of it because we want to start being effective at the beginning because it is going to be kind of a fade in for us. It is going to be a little intro. Then let's go a little ways into it. You can come down and we will look here. Let's try to feel it out by watching it. Maybe we want it to totally be unfaded just before it stops the house. That way everything else kind of looks faded and jumbled. Everything looks cool when it is very blurred. So let's go ahead and just position it right around there and just hit. Go up here to viewer and hit key frame. So not we have these two key frames. Okay, well let's put the beginning one really high. Let's go over here and change this radius. This is basically how much is going to blur and let's put it all the way up so that it is really blurry. As the clip progresses, it gets less blurry and less blurry. Hey, there's no blur. We can actually still preview this because it is real time rendering here. It might be a little choppy but it will look decent enough so let's watch it. Yeah, that looks nice. Looks really nice. In fact I am just going to squeeze this blur over just a little bit. But the blur really makes a difference. So now I still want the blur but you know what it is kind of weird when a clip just starts. If I am starting from black, like if somebody was to just watch us on a screen it would look like this going from black. The video would just pop right in. That is not very appealing. So let's go ahead and put a fade. Go over here and right click it. Add transition crosses off., Now it goes from black which is really sweet. We have our blur set up, we have our dissolve in and need something cool to go there. I have another clip prepared. It is just this motion which by itself is kind of crappy but when you put it together with another clip, it actually looks really nice. "
