"This is C.J. South representing expertvillage.com. In this clip I will continue to talk about using filter controls. Now you also have angle controls which, let me twirl that up. You have this angle tool; this dial that you can spin around. You know the long black hand of the dial indicates angle. So to constrain the dial to 45 degree increments, so if you notice I am just clicking and dragging, it just kind of is going. Some of these filters are slowing this down. Let me go ahead and shut them off while we are not using them at all. You will notice that I can just slide it around and it is a little hard to if you want it right on 90 degrees or 180, it is a bit hard to get that. So to keep it with increments of 45 degrees, all you have to do is hold the shift key while you are moving it. If you notice it, it snaps to all the large increments; increments of 45 degrees. So move to 45 degrees while holding shift. So to reset the dial to the previous setting while adjusting the parameter, just the drag the pointer all the way out of the effect parameter. So if I moving this around, okay I'm changing it and I just kind of like, I didn't want to move it. Instead of just letting go and hitting undo, you can just drag your pointer out of the parameters box and it will reset itself. You see that. Just drag it and it resets. Just another way to redo that. Now you have color controls. We'll look at some color controls. Well the color controls gives you several ways to select a color value. Let me just twirl this down so that we have different options. We have the eyedropper here and this eyedropper button lets you select a color that is in an image, a viewer of a canvas. So I can just click that and go to a color and here like this is kind of what, I click that and now you see I've changed my pallet to white. Now you can also change your hue. Okay if your key framing changes in color, you can click this control to indicate the direction on the color wheel which way you want it to go. If I have some key frames I can set it one color and another key frame move to another as it is doing right now. Just by changing up the hue, saturation and blast. If I move that around you can see that it is changing very dynamically so we have some sort of crazy strobing color light festival. Yeah, all that and a bag of chips. Let me tell you. "
