"What's up? My name is Darin, on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you guys how to create a song using reason. Alright, so in this clip right here I'm going to show you we can lay out the song and be able to export it. So, we have the song we were laying out, all the different sounds, the trom, bass, to the insomnia. So if you want to lay out the sound, all you have to do to get all you notes that you played underneath here. All you have to do is a slight one of the synthesizers, and go ahead and select until the icon comes up, the media icon. Once you select that, go ahead and hit record. Hit record and play it will have a record bar the you would go through. That' s when you start playing your notes, and it will record it. So, once that's recorded, and all the sounds are saved, you be able to copy it, like say for instance, if I want to bass to be a 1/16 bar, I just copy it and paste. I'll take off the loop and make the song where I want it. So, if I want the bass to come in and I want the insomnia to come in. That's the way I want the strings to come in, just cut, copy and paste. And one that's all done, we'll go ahead and go to file, and we're going to do export song as an audio file. That will export, or ask you where you want to save it as and then the file type, it will be AIFF or if you're using a PC it will be as a WAV. file. You can also export it as a loop as well. If you just want to have that one section loop, you can export it as that as well. So, that's pretty much how to use Reason, just practice that out, learn the synthesizers and export your song."
