"What's up? My name is Darin. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you guys how to create a song using Reason. Alright, so, in this segment right here, I'm going to show you guys the envelope. The envelope control filter is one of these sounds where it can make it sound muffled or make it sound high pitched. It's all in the process of tweaking it to get that unique sound, to make it yours, you know. So, here I have the subtracter hooked up with endzonia hits two. With this, if I had it off, this is what it will sound like. So like if I have it on, and have the frequency pretty much down, it'll sound nothing. And I can also tweak that as well and change the frequency. Now it still sounds muffled, so I can raise the res a little bit too. Now, it has like a little peak to it, but it's still muffled. It also has an envelope amount. I'll change that and the velocity. And the mode, I'll change it to very muffled, LP24 of the B12. The B12 will make it sound more trebled. So you play around with it. So you start using this. So that's pretty much it for the filter too. That's the envelope control filter."
