"What's up. My name's Darin on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you guys how to create a song using Reason. Alright, so in this clip right here I'm going to show you guys the phaser. One of my favorite things to use when using electronic music has that flow feel type of effect where you just like going out of this world and coming right back. Plays with your ears too. So it's pretty cool to use. I have strings down here already in my song. So if I wanted to have a phaser, I go ahead and select it. So it would be the PH90 Phaser. And once I have that selected, it will sound like this. You could also change the feedback on it, the F-Mod. You could sync it with the rate, change the width, the split of it and the frequency. Now, you could play around with these until you get that zek sound. So say for instance, I want the frequency all the way up and when it drops it will be a lot deeper. Or I can have the frequency a little bit more down. Change the split so you'll be in both speakers or you can put the split on the other way and it'll be like changed around. Also you can do the sync, change it, make it go fast, it may go as slow as it can. And change the feedback on it as well. You can have that all the way off, or change it all the way up. It's' all how you play with it. Just tweak what the phase is. Pretty fun to use. I love using it. Just try using the phaser. See what instrument you could hook it up to. Here I have it hooked up to the mouse drum. And not only try it with strings, but try it with like a piano or a guitar or something. Just tweak with it."
