"What's up? My name is Darin. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you guys how to create a song using Reason. Alright, in this clip right here, I'm going to show you guys the RV7 digital reverb. It's a mini version of the RV7000, except for it doesn't have the delay to it or the echo. It's pretty much just a reverb. So say, for instance, remember when I had this screen four hooked up to that one sound in the subtracter? How it sounded kind of choppy. Now, if I had the RV7 hooked up to it, it would sound more field in a way. You can also change the dry and the wet. So, if I take it all the way to dry, it sounds exactly like I never had it on. I'm going to put it like a little bit above it. You can change the dampness and the decay and the size of it as well. Now, right here it has hall. You can also change the hall to large hall, hall two, large room, medium room, small room, gated, low density, store echo, hand room. So you just cycle through those until you find something that matches. This small synthesizer, it only has four buttons and a cycle through of what type of room you want to be in or have that effect to that sound. And you can add that along with any other synthesizer, so if you have the RV7000 up you can also have the reverb up with it as well. So you just need to play with it, layer it out and see what sound comes out with it."
