Synths in Reason: ReDrum

"What's up? My name is Darin. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you guys how to create a song using Reason. Alright, so in this clip right here, I'm going to show you guys the ReDrum. This is your main drum machine. If you want to have everything used all by yourself, all at your fingertips, if you can have a bass and a claps, have everything that you need to do, anything that you are capable of doing on the drums, you can do it here. Alright, say, for instance, we the ReDrum out. And you can set these all one by one if you want to. They have individual folders over here by the numbers. You just select right next to it and choose like the bass I want and you can hit open. And now I'll lit that to be saved right here. Say, for instance, I have it playing, you won't hear anything. Right here, are the one through sixteen, is your drum pad. So, if I have it on one, it'll play on one. Now if I want it harder, I could choose hard, medium, soft, change the different types of the texture of it, the sound of it. So, it's harder now. Or, if you don't want to do that, you can also use the other folder down here. The browse patch. The browse patch will let you go through different and numerous numbers of kicks. I'm going to use the techno kick. Techno kick one, which has like, all of them are now highlighted, the one through ten. So now, we're going to hit play with a different bass. And now, I can go to the folder up here, select it and have a different type of bass all the way through. It goes the same with all the ones from one through ten, change everything in there. Anything you have, if you want to do snares, you can do like drum roll with that as well."
