"What's up? My name is Darin on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you guys how to create a song using Reason. Alright, so in this clip right here, I'm going to show you guys the NN19. This one is like a piano- based type synthesizer. It has more soothing sounds, more traditional sounds, have like brass and woodwind or bass or piano or voice or voice and keyboard. Right here I'm going to go ahead and select the synthing keyboard. I'm going to choose the lead synth. From here, it has like a trans type sound to it. You can put like the reverb up. Another thing that's cool with this, the effect I like on this, is that with the allophone here, not only can you do the oscillator and the filter, but you can also do the pan as well. So, if you choose like sync and you want it on one chord, just go back and forth from each ear, flip the note all the way up for it like makes it really sound effective. Go ahead and play pan. And it's going back and forth. Or you can chop it. You can also change the rate of it. Look for rate. So it's pretty cool to use. You can also change the octave on here. Also, another thing on here is called the solo sample. Once you select that, it's a different sound to it when you take off that. It's pretty much a different sound to it. So, you can choose any NN19 file and change the sound of it and make it sound very unique, especially with the pan going on. It's very cool synthesizer to use."
