"DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette and let's continue our tutorial on Microsoft Flight Simulator X. When descending in a Mooney Bravo, set your propeller RPM to around 2,000 revolutions per minute therefore also set your manifold pressure and maintain a descent rate between 500 and 750 feet per minute as indicated on your vertical speed indicator. With these power settings, your descent should be approximately at 150 knots indicated air speed. During the approach phase of your landing, once you are at 110 knots indicated air speed, you can start to lower the flaps by 10 degrees. Your final approach in the Mooney Bravo should be flown with full flaps and with the knots of indicated air speed of 75. Also remember on final approach, make sure you extend your landing gear by pushing G on the keyboard and make sure your gear is down and locked. Remember to aim for the numbers on the runway and hold those numbers at one point in your wind screen. Once you've come over the runway threshold, gently flare by pulling back gently on the control yoke. Once your aircraft touches down, let it roll out and pull the brakes. Make sure you exit the runway when the controller tells you to. As soon as you're done exiting the runway, retract your flaps and turn your landing lights off if you have them on."
