"DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette and let's continue our tutorial on Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Now, some of your aircraft on Flight Simulator will be able to have retractable landing gear or a retractable undercarriage. This is essentially accomplished by pushing G on the keyboard or your hot button on whichever control interface that you're using. Now keep in mind, if your aircraft is flying too fast, your landing gear more than likely won't be able to deploy because the airflow flowing under its landing gear exit points is too great. So don't forget that when you slow your aircraft back down, you miss your step of throwing on your landing gear and make sure you do that again."
