The more difficult maneuvers to perform in an aircraft is actually maintaining straight and level flight. Now in order to get yourself established right from the get-go, it's important to learn how to use a very small, smooth control inputs whether you're using a mouse or a joystick. Pilots want to tend to overcorrect a lot, which will end up giving your aircraft severe oscillations. So just keep in mind the smaller, more correct smooth movements will yield you greater accuracy and results when you're pilot--considered to be the golden rule amongst pilots, pitch plus power equals performance is simply obtained by holding a constant airspeed and a constant pitch attitude. This will yield you either a constant straight level flight or will yield a constant descend or ascend in your aircraft."
