"Hi, this is Douglas Willott on behalf of Expert Village, and today we're going to talk about how to decide between purchasing a PC or a Mac. Alright, you've made your decision. There are certain software?s that you have to have a PC for and a Mac just won't do. Or maybe you're just going to be gaming a lot and you know that the PC is going to have more games available over time than the Macintosh. Regardless, PC is the way to go for you now, and now you have to decide what PC. Because there are multiple manufacturers of PCs, like we said earlier, you can find them at some pretty good prices. You can also find them at a very expensive range. It's fine to go for whatever PC it is in your budget that's going to get the job done. However, you're going to want to do enough research to figure out which one's going to be better than the other. Buying a pre-made PC from a brand such as Dell or HP has its benefits and drawbacks. The benefits largely being customer support in case things go wrong. There's someone you can call immediately about your purchase. The drawbacks being it's not as customized. You can't mix and match your parts as much. That's one of the nice things about a PC, you can upgrade it much easier than a Mac. We'll talk about that later on, too. Once you've decided what PC to get, laptop or a desktop, what brand of PC, what various items you want to put into it, you have to figure out whether you're going to be assembling some of it yourself or buying it all premade. These are all steps to decide on when you decide to go for the PC."
