DREW NOAH: So now I'm going to talk about the different preferences or settings you can change in Celtx and I'm on Mac so it's under the Celtx menu in preferences. I'm not quite sure where it's going to be on Windows, just look around for it, most likely file or edit menu and it'll say preferences. And it brings up a little preferences box. So the first option is "general" and you can set it up to sign you into your Celtx account on startup if you want. You would just need to click this, enter your username and password, and then you can set up an auto save feature, it's probably a good idea to actually set that. The next is the "categories." So you remember when we are going through the project library and adding items, we had a whole bunch of items to choose from. If we never actually use any of these, we could disable them by putting them over here in the disabled box and add them back by just doing that. Just simple, click on it and remove it to disable it. The next options are for your script and they just have some default script words and you should know these if you know how to screen write in the first place. So interior and exterior and then you got all these and these are--like when you're typing and you--so you're writing a scene heading and you type an I, INT is going to come up because it's right here and these are the commonly used words. So, and they also have shot words right there and so they'll come up automatically when you start typing as in like an autocomplete feature but you could choose to remove this if you want and you can add your own. So if you're commonly using some kind of descriptive word for the time of day, right here, you can go ahead and add that. They already got quite a few good ones in here. The next option, there's some options for you production schedule, you can change the start of day, start of week, and the default scene length. Usually when I drag a scene into my production schedule it's going to just schedule for two hours; I could change that. And you could change the days that are included in the work week and you could choose to show workdays only. The next option is privacy. Well, Celtx to PING the Celtx server on Launch. This is used to count the number of active Celtx users. No personally identifying information or project data is transmitted in the process. It's kind of up to you if you want to leave this on or off. And then you've got network options which, personally, I would never mess with this unless you know what you're doing. But most of these three or four right here are some of the most common options you probably want to change. So those are your preferences in Celtx.
